Could it really be true?

Ok, here’s the deal, there’s a new study that says that women are bad at parking. It was conducted in Germany and the lead researcher is a woman. They looked at 65 people (seems a small sample size to us) as they parked an Audi A6 Limousine Automatic.

According to the study abstract, “We show that men park more accurately and especially faster than women.” The lead researcher, Dr. Claudia Wolf, had this to say about her findings, “It is not as if there was a massive failing by women. It is just about parking – not the triumph of men over women.” Seems a bit strange for Dr. Wolf to spend a lot of time on a study only to say “it is just about parking.”

Although the study is a bit disconcerting, some of us at Drive Like A Woman would rather spend our time at the track or off-road anyway and are perfectly happy to have a valet park our car.
