Pippa Mann First British Woman at Indy 500

Pippa Mann, 27, will be the first British woman to race in the Indianapolis 500. This year will see 4 women racing in the race this year: Danica Patrick (US), Ana Beatriz (Brazil) and Simona De Silvestro (Switzerland).

Mann is new to IndyCar but she’s certainly one to watch. De Silvestro was the 2010 IndyCar Rookie of the year and Patrick is a veteran. Should be an interesting race to see who comes out on top.

Mann will race with Conquest Racing at the Indy 500 on May 29th.
