Drag champion Melanie Troxel will compete at Santa Pod in the UK this weekend. Troxel is the only female to ever have won NHRA national events in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. She once raced an amazing 332 MPH in Top Fuel.

In 2006, she was awarded Sportswoman of the Year by the Women’s Sports Foundation. That same year she also nominated for 2 ESPN ESPY awards for Sportswoman of the Year and Driver of the Year, this was the first time a driver had ever been nominated for 2 ESPY awards.
