Nascar Heels

Nascar has had a huge following in America for a while now. But watching stock cars speed around the oval is also a huge past time for women according to a story in Bleacherreport.com.

Of the 75 million fans 40% are women. And female fans are on the rise, one in every two new fans are women.

The writer, a woman, has some interesting theories of why there is a large number of female fans ranging from “cute drivers” to shopping for Nascar merchandise. She does however lament the fact that currently there are no female drivers in Nascar and that only then will “Nascar’s conquest of the female fan base will be complete.”
