Is Lamborghini the New Banksy?

Lambo as art

Art, as beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Could Richard Moriarty have started a new trend hanging his 1974 Lamborghini Countach on his wall as art? Banksy et al had best watch out lest their art du jour be replaced by a 200 mph iconic speed machine. Moriarty bought the Countach for $60,000 but realized the upkeep was a nightmare and thus the car found its new home as a piece of art in his new Newport Beach, California home. The only addition he would like to make to the piece—“I want to stencil some tire marks on the wall,” he said. “Seriously.”

I’d put one up too if I only had the wall space!

Rolling art ... that is what we call it.  What a great way to live with great design.

Cool indeed.  I wonder what happens if he decided he wants to use his lambo for driving again?
