First Woman to Win at Autorama, and She’s a Gold Digger

Tammy Ray's Gold Digger

Tammy Ray, who hails from Georgia in the USA, is the first woman to win the coveted Ridler Award at the Autorama in Detroit.

The Ridler award is given to the best custom hot rod and only cars shown for the first time are eligible.

Her car, aptly nick-named Gold Digger, is a 1933 Ford Phaeton.
