Dario Franchitti won the Indy 500 for the second time. Danica came in 6th, which is a great finish considering she started in 23rd.

Rookie Silmona de Silvestro finished 14th, a very good run for her. Her fellow rookie, Ana Beatriz finished 21st which is also a great finish for her.

Sarah Fisher was running well moving from a starting position in 29th up to 15th place but unfortunately made contact with the wall and was forced out of the race.
