Ashley Force Hood, 27, qualified number 1 in the NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway. This marks her 10th time qualifying number 1. She ran a quick 4.104 seconds at 304.60 seconds in her Ford Mustang.

However, when race day came she was beat by teammate and brother-in-law Robert Hight. She’ll race next on May 21-23 at the O’Reilly NHRA Summer Nationals in Topeka, Kansas.
